Tom Mertz has spent the last twenty years serving in various leadership roles in the Mission Critical Industry. Selected by Columbia Capital as CPG’s CEO, Tom previously served as the CEO of Canara, spearheading the growth plan that resulted in the company merger with CPG. Tom will lead CPG and its customers into the next generation of data centers, leveraging predictive analytics combined with AI and machine learning. CPG’s software platform will deliver cutting edge solutions to the largest names in the industry. Prior to Canara, Tom was the Executive Vice President for the Enterprise Division of QTS, which owns, operates and manages over 3.8 million square feet of state-of-the-art data center facilities. Tom also spent 10 years at Lee Technologies where he was instrumental in leading that company’s transformation from a products-based sales organization into a leading solutions provider focused on the Mission Critical Industry. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public and Urban Affairs from Georgia State University with continued leadership education at Emory’s Goizueta Business School and George Mason University.
